Next to the eyes, perhaps the most distinctive feature of a person is the nose. In fact, you can change the entire look of someone by altering the way his or her nose looks like (think about those who have undergone plastic surgery). Because it’s an important facial feature, you have to make sure that you know how to draw a nose properly.

1. Know the kind of nose you want to draw. You can have a huge catalog of noses, so you do have several choices. Unless you already have a human model with you, you have to begin from scratch–that is, imagining how you want a character to look like based on his or her nose.
2. Create a sketch. When you already have a good idea, you can already grab a piece of paper for your sketch. A sketch is not the actual image itself.
