Three Facts About Weight Loss

NOW I KNOW I CAN ACHIEVE MY GOAL.

A Scientific Discovery By The University Of Minnesota In 1996 Changed My Point of Niew Toward Attempting To Lose Weight Again.

Below are THREE IMPORTANT FACTS about weight loss that I did not know before I heard of that study.

FACT ONE: We can’t lose weight with our present dieting methods and programs because they work against the natural processes of our bodies!

MOTHER NATURE IS TOO STRONG TO FIGHT! What do I mean by that? The answer lies in the discovery made during the above mentioned study at the University of Minnesota. Here’s what they found: They discovered that our bodies have a “weight regulatory pathway” that includes the brain, adipose tissue, and other peripheral organs and glands. This pathway is a communication channel between fat cells and our brains.

(Adipose: “Adipose” means “fat” but is usually used to refer specifically to tissue made up of mainly fat cells such as the yellow layer of fat beneath the skin. The word “adipose” comes from the Latin “adeps” meaning “fat, particularly lard.”)

This is important! Critical to the proper functioning of this “pathway” are the two body hormones, Leptin & Adiponectin.

FACT TWO: OUR BODIES PRODUCE THE HORMONE, LEPTIN

Leptin is an amazing hormone manufactured by every cell in our bodies. First of all it serves as a regulator of body fat storage through the central nervous system.

MY OWN AMAZING PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: When I took this product to try and lose some weight, I LOST MY HYPOGLYCEMIA AND BORDERLINE DIABETES. Was I happy about that or what? AND, I heard Paul Harvey talking about Leptin as being a revolutionary new way to treat Diabetes. Better than Insulin. “WOW”

Leptin regulates:

When we feel full of food
Our desire for more food
How quickly our body digests and absorbs our food

Leptin also has a regulating affect on the hormone “GHRELIN.”

This hormone works to make us hungry.
Leptin counters this hormone to take away some “hungry” feelings on our part.
It also affects the regulation of our energy balance, and
Helps with suppressing our food intake.

FACT THREE: All of these factors have helped to induce my own weight loss, and kept my body at the right weight level. Our bodies also produce the hormone, ADIPONECTIN.

ADIPONECTIN IS ANOTHER AMAZING HORMONE IN OUR BODIES. This important hormone has been shown to have a protective effect against diabetes and cardiovascular disease. However, obese individuals exhibit lower levels of this hormone.

Therefore overweight people are more prone to those two diseases because the amount of Adiponectin in their bodies is not enough to counter the tendencies toward diabetes and cardiovascular disease. The protective power of Adiponectin is more limited in overweight people and therefore it is more difficult for them to lose weight no matter what they try.

It is the higher levels of Adiponectin in the body that typically increases weight loss and makes the body more sensitive to insulin, which controls our sugar levels. This works because insulin sensitivity increases when we lose weight. Therefore we have lower sugar levels and move away from diabetes when our insulin sensitivity levels increase.
